เข้าค่ายมรณะ! – จาการ์ตาโพสต์ และ สเตรตส์ไทมส์ รายงานวันที่ 22 ก.พ. ว่า เกิดเหตุ น้ำท่วม ฉับพลันในหมู่บ้านโดโนเกอร์โต เมืองยอกยาการ์ตา บนเกาะชวา ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย ตั้งแต่เย็นวันศุกร์ที่ 21 ก.พ.ที่ผ่านมา
หลังพายุฝนตกหนักจนน้ำในแม่น้ำเซมบอร์ไหล่บ่าเข้าท่วมพื้นที่ใกล้เคียง ซึ่งมีกลุ่มนักเรียนเนตรนารีอายุ 12-15 ปี จำนวน 257 คนกำลังทำกิจกรรมเดินทางไกล ระหว่างเข้าค่าย ส่งผลให้นักเรียนส่วนใหญ่ถูกกระแสน้ำเชี่ยวกรากพัดตกแม่น้ำ
เบื้องต้นพบร่างเด็กที่จมน้ำเสียชีวิตแล้วอย่างน้อย 8 ราย บาดเจ็บนับร้อยคน และยังสูญหายอีก 2 คน ขณะที่หน่วยกู้ภัยระดมเจ้าหน้าที่เกือบ 900 นายเข้าช่วยเหลือกลุ่มนักเรียนที่ยังติดอยู้ในพื้นที่ รวมถึงเร่งหาคนหาย
