ศรีลังกาซึ้งเมียนมาบริจาค “ข้าวสาร” 1,000 ตัน-บรรเทาวิกฤตเศรษฐกิจรุมเร้า
ศรีลังกาซึ้งเมียนมาบริจาค – ซินหัว รายงานจากสำนักข่าวทางการเมียนมาว่า รัฐบาลเมียนมาส่งมอบข้าวสารจำนวน 1,000 ตันให้แก่ศรีลังกาซึ่งยังเผชิญหน้ากับวิกฤตเศรษฐกิจครั้งใหญ่ในรอบ 74 ปี
นายอู อ่อง ไหน่ อู รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงพาณิชย์เมียนมา ร่วมพิธีส่งมอบข้าวสาร 1,000 ตันที่ท่าเรือในนครย่างกุ้ง เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 2 ก.ย.ที่ผ่านมา เผยว่าการบริจาคครั้งนี้ถือเป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งความเห็นอกเห็นใจจากรัฐบาลและประชาชนชาวเมียนมาต่อชาวศรีลังกา พร้อมแสดงความหวังว่าจะช่วยกระชับความสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือระหว่างสองประเทศ

ด้าน นายเจ.เอ็ม. บันดารา เอกอัครราชทูตศรีลังกาประจำเมียนมา ผู้แทนรัฐบาลศรีลังกาในการรับมอบข้าวสาร กล่าวความขอบคุณสำหรับการบริจาคดังกล่าว
และว่าข้าวนี้มีประโยชน์อย่างยิ่งต่อศรีลังกาที่ยังประสบปัญหารอบด้าน ทั้งทางเศรษฐกิจทรุดตัว ขาดแคลนพลังงาน และเงินตราต่างประเทศสำหรับซื้อสินค้านำเข้าที่จำเป็น
At the event, Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo said that the donation shows the sympathy of the Myanmar government and people towards the Sri Lankan people. /myanmaritv/
Afterwards, the Sri Lankan Ambassador presented a letter of acknowledgment to the chairman of the Myanmar Rice Federation for arranging to export rice. /myanmaritv/
Speaking at the handover ceremony on Friday, Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo said that the donation is a token of sympathy for Myanmar’s government and people for the people of Sri Lanka. /myanmaritv/
Sri Lankan Ambassador to Myanmar J.M. Bandara expressed gratitude to the Myanmar government for the donation, saying the rice donation is helpful for Sri Lanka, which is currently facing an economic crisis. /myanmaritv/
