โจ ไบเดน-จัสติน ทรูโด – บีบีซี รายงานเกาะติดข่าวความคืบหน้าหลังจากสำนักพระราชวังบักกิงแฮมออกแถลงการณ์ว่า สมเด็จพระราชินีนาถอลิซาเบธที่ 2 แห่งสหราชอาณาจักร พระชนมพรรษา 96 พรรษา ทรงอยู่ภายใต้การถวายการดูแลอย่างใกล้ชิดจากคณะแพทย์ เนื่องจากมีความกังวลต่อพระพลานามัยของสมเด็จพระราชินีว่า
นอกจากประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยวจำนวนมากจะหลั่งไหลไปปักหลักที่หน้าพระราชวังบักกิงแฮมในกรุงลอนดอน รวมทั้งที่ปราสาทแบลมอรัล ในสกอตแลนด์แล้ว
มีรายงานว่าโฆษกทำเนียบขาวของสหรัฐอเมริการะบุว่า ประธานาธิบดีโจ ไบเดน ผู้นำสหรัฐ มีความระลึกถึงสมเด็จพระราชินีอลิซาเบธ รวมถึงพระบรมวงศานุวงศ์
ขณะที่ นายกรัฐมนตรีจัสติน ทรูโด ผู้นำแคนาดา โพสต์ข้อความทางทวิตเตอร์ว่า “ผมและประชาชนชาวแคนาดาทุกคนมีความระลึกถึงสมเด็จพระราชินีนาถอลิซาเบธที่ 2 ในช่วงเวลานี้ เราขอให้พระองค์มีพระพลานามัยดี และขอส่งความปรารถนาดีไปยังพระบรมวงศานุวงศ์ด้วย”
