หมออินเดียเผย – วันที่ 19 มิ.ย. บีบีซี รายงานว่า ทางการรัฐอุตตรประเทศ ตอนเหนือของ ประเทศอินเดีย เร่งสอบสวนการเสียชีวิตที่คาดว่าอาจมีส่วนเชื่อมโยงกับวิกฤต คลื่นความร้อน โดยกรณีดังกล่าวกลายเป็นกระแสวิจารณ์
หลังจากนายแพทย์ทิวาคาร ซิงห์ ผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลในเขตบัลเลีย เปิดเผยกับสื่อว่าระหว่างวันที่ 15-17 มิ.ย.ที่ผ่านมา มีผู้เสียชีวิต 54 รายในเขตบัลเลีย และในจำนวนนี้มากถึง 25 รายอาจมีสาเหตุมาจากสภาพอากาศร้อนจัด

รายงานระบุอีกว่าหลายพื้นที่ในรัฐอุตตรประเทศมีอุณหภูมิสูงราว 42-47 องศาเซลเซียสในช่วงสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมาซึ่งทางการประกาศเตือนให้ผู้สูงวัยและบุคคลที่มีสุขภาพไม่สมบูรณ์หลีกเลี่ยงการออกนอกเคหสถาน
