รัสเซียซ้อมโจมตีนิวเคลียร์ – วันที่ 26 ต.ค. บีบีซี รายงานว่า นายเซอร์เก ชอยกู รัฐมนตรีกระทรวงกลาโหมรัสเซีย ชี้แจงต่อ ประธานาธิบดีวลาดิมีร์ ปูติน ผู้นำรัสเซีย ถึงการฝึกซ้อมการโจมตีด้วยนิวเคลียร์ “ครั้งมหึมา” ซึ่งเกี่ยวข้องกับการตอบโต้การโจมตีด้วยนิวเคลียร์ของศัตรู
โดยระบุว่ามีการยิงขีปนาวุธทิ้งตัวและขีปนาวุธร่อน รวมถึงขีปนาวุธข้ามทวีป “ยาร์ส” ซึ่งถูกยิงจากสถานที่ทดสอบในภาคตะวันออกไกลของรัสเซีย
และขีปนาวุธอีกลูกถูกยิงจากเรือดำน้ำพลังงานนิวเคลียร์ในทะเลแบเร็นตส์ซึ่งกระทรวงกลาโหมรัสเซียได้เผยแพร่ภาพการทดสอบเพื่อประกาศศักดาทางการทหารภายหลังความพยายามรุกรานยูเครนยืดเยื้อมานานเกือบ 2 ปี นับตั้งแต่เปิดปฏิบัติการพิเศษทางทหารในยูเครนเมื่อเดือนก.พ.2565

ความเคลื่อนไหวดังกล่าวเกิดขึ้นหลังรัฐสภารัสเซียสนับสนุนการเพิกถอนการให้สัตยาบันต่อ องค์การสนธิสัญญาว่าด้วยการห้ามทดลองนิวเคลียร์โดยสมบูรณ์ (ซีทีบีที) เมื่อวันพุธที่ 25 ต.ค.
รัสเซียมีการจำลองความพร้อมทางนิวเคลียร์เป็นประจำในช่วงปลายเดือนต.ค. แต่การฝึกซ้อมในปีนี้เกี่ยวข้องกับการโจมตีด้วยนิวเคลียร์ครั้งใหญ่ซึ่งนายชอยกูย้ำว่าเป็นฝึกซ้อมของกองกำลังเชิงรุกทางยุทธศาสตร์เพื่อตอบสนองต่อการโจมตีด้วยนิวเคลียร์ของศัตรู
ก่อนหน้านี้เมื่อต้นเดือนต.ค. นายปูตินกล่าวว่ารัสเซียประสบความสำเร็จในการทดสอบขั้นสุดท้ายของขีปนาวุธร่อนพลังงานนิวเคลียร์ โดยอาวุธทดลองดังกล่าวซึ่งประกาศเปิดตัวครั้งแรกในปี 2561 ซึ่งรัสเซียอ้างว่าเป็นขีปนาวุธที่มีพิสัยยิงไม่จำกัด
