โป๊ปฟรานซิส “ไลฟ์สตรีม” – วันที่ 12 เม.ย. บีบีซี รายงานว่า สำนักวาติกันไลฟ์สตรีมพิธีมิสซาเนื่องใน วันอีสเตอร์ หนึ่งในเทศกาลที่สำคัญที่สุดของศาสนิกชนชาวคริสต์ เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองการคืนพระชนม์ของ พระเยซู หลังถูกตรึงกางเขน

โดยสมเด็จพระสันตะปาปาฟรานซิส ประมุขแห่งคริสตจักรโรมันคาทอลิก ทรงประกอบพิธีเป็นการภายในที่มหาวิหารเซนต์ปีเตอร์ในนครรัฐวาติกัน ตามมาตรการเว้นระยะห่างทางสังคม ภายหลังอิตาลียังมีผู้ป่วยสะสมเพิ่มขึ้นต่อเนื่องเป็นอย่างน้อย 152,271 คน และเสียชีวิตแล้ว 19,468 คน ส่วนยอดผู้ติดเชื้อสะสมทั่วโลกสูงถึง 1,787,766 คน ในจำนวนนี้เสียชีวิตแล้ว 109,312 คน

ก่อนหน้านี้ในพิธีวันเสาร์ศักดิ์สิทธิ์เมื่อวันที่ 11 เม.ย. สมเด็จพระสันตะปาปาฟรานซิสตรัสว่า อย่าได้ยอมจำนนต่อความกลัวในโรคโควิด-19 และทรงขอให้ศาสนิกชนทุกคนเป็นผู้ส่งสารแห่งชีวิตในช่วงเวลาแห่งความตายนี้

ขณะเดียวกัน นายกรัฐมนตรีจูเซปเป คอนเต แห่งอิตาลี กล่าวชื่นชมพระสันตะปาปาว่าทรงมีความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม หลังจัดพิธีฉลองเทศกาลอีสเตอร์โดยไม่มีการรวมตัวของศาสนิกชน หรือคณะบาทหลวงจำนวนมากๆ
