สังเวยแล้ว “พายุทราย” ซัดถล่มอิรัก-เข้าโรงพยาบาลทะลุครึ่งหมื่น!
สังเวยแล้ว “พายุทราย” – วันที่ 6 พ.ค. เอเอฟพี รายงานความคืบหน้าเหตุ พายุทราย รุนแรงพัดถล่มในประเทศอิรักว่า นายซีฟ อัล-บัดร์ โฆษกกระทรวงสาธารณสุขอิรัก แถลงว่ามีผู้เสียชีวิตแล้วอย่างน้อย 1 ราย ในกรุงแบกแดด
ส่วนตัวเลขผู้ป่วยที่มีปัญหาระบบทางเดินหายใจและต้องเข้ารับการรักษาในโรงพยาบาลเพิ่มขึ้นเป็นกว่า 5,000 คน ขณะที่สถานการณ์ในหลายจังหวัดมีพายุทรายหนาทึบปกคลุมไปทั่วจนบดบังวิสัยทัศน์การมองเห็น
ทั้งนี้ พายุทรายเป็นปรากฏการณ์ธรรมชาติที่เกิดขึ้นในเขตทะเลทราย และแม้จะเป็นเรื่องปกติที่เกิดขึ้นในอิรัก แต่พบว่าผลจากความแห้งแล้ง ฝนที่ตกน้อยลง และการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสภาวะอากาศ ทำให้เกิดพายุทะเลทรายมากขึ้น
