เมียนมารอยูเนสโกขึ้นทะเบียน – ซินหัว รายงานว่า นายเอ เอ ติน ผู้อำนวยการพิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติของเมียนมา เปิดเผยว่าทางการเมียนมากำลังรอองค์การการศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ และวัฒนธรรมแห่งสหประชาชาติ (ยูเนสโก) อนุมัติให้ “เทศกาลตะจาน” (Thingyan Festival) หรือเทศกาลสาดน้ำ เข้าอยู่ในบัญชีขององค์การยูเนสโก

รายงานระบุว่าเมียนมาได้ยื่นขอขึ้นทะเบียนเทศกาลตะจานซึ่งเป็นเทศกาลประจำปีที่สำคัญที่สุดในเมียนมา โดยยื่นขอขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมที่จับต้องไม่ได้ตั้งแต่เดือนมีนาคม 2566 และคาดว่าจะได้รับอนุมัติภายในสิ้นปี 2567
