จีนเร่งสอบสวน – รอยเตอร์ รายงานวันที่ 28 พ.ย. ว่า เกิดเหตุรถไฟขบวนหนึ่งแล่นชนพนักงานการรถไฟในเมืองคุนหมิง ทางตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ของ ประเทศจีน เมื่อวันที่ 27 พ.ย.ที่ผ่านมา

ส่งผลให้มีผู้เสียชีวิตอย่างน้อย 11 ราย ได้รับบาดเจ็บอีก 2 ราย และถือเป็นอุบัติเหตุทางรถไฟที่มีผู้เสียชีวิตมากที่สุดในรอบกว่าทศวรรษของจีน
รถไฟขบวนดังกล่าวอยู่ระหว่างทดสอบอุปกรณ์ตรวจจับแผ่นดินไหวก่อนพุ่งชนกลุ่มพนักงานช่วงรางทางโค้งของสถานีรถไฟเมืองลั่วหยาง มณฑลยูนนาน แถลงการณ์ระบุว่าสถานีรถไฟในพื้นที่กลับมาให้บริการตามปกติแล้ว ส่วนสาเหตุอยู่ระหว่างการสอบสวน

ทั้งนี้ เครือข่ายรถไฟของจีนเป็นเครือข่ายที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก ครอบคลุมระยะทางมากกว่า 160,000 กิโลเมตร และมีการเดินทางหลายพันล้านเที่ยวในแต่ละปี แม้ได้รับการยกย่องว่ามีประสิทธิภาพสูง แต่มีเหตุสร้างความสูญเสียหลายครั้ง
รวมถึงกรณีเมื่อปี 2554 ในมณฑลเจ้อเจียง ทางตะวันออก มีผู้เสียชีวิต 40 ราย และบาดเจ็บ 200 ราย ขณะที่ในปี 2564 มีผู้เสียชีวิต 9 รายจากเหตุรถไฟในมณฑลกานซู ทางตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือ ชนเข้ากับคนงานบนเส้นทางรถไฟเมือหลานโจว-เขตปกครองตนเองซินเจียงอุยกูร์
Kunming Luoyangzhen Station is currently a high-speed rail express station and does not handle passenger transport. The train, which was testing earthquake detection equipment, hit workers on a curved section of track at the city’s Luoyang Town railway station, the officials said.
