รายงานระบุว่าอิทธิพลของพายุก่อให้เกิดฝนตกหนักต่อเนื่องและน้ำท่วมเป็นบริเวณกว้าง ทั้งนี้ ยอดผู้เสียชีวิตจากภัยพิบัติทางธรรมชาติในสัปดาห์นี้สูงที่สุดนับตั้งแต่เดือนมิ.ย.2567 ส่วนอุทกภัยที่เลวร้ายที่สุดของศรีลังกานับตั้งแต่ต้นศตวรรษเป็นเหตุการณ์เมื่อปี 2546 ที่มีผู้เสียชีวิตมากถึง 254 ราย

เหยื่อพายุ “ไซโคลนดิตวาห์” – A flooded hospital after heavy rains is seen in Chilaw, north of Colombo, Sri Lanka, Friday, Nov. 28, 2025.
