ทั้งนี้ นายจางกล่าวด้วยว่าลัทธิทหารของญี่ปุ่นเคยสร้างความทุกข์ทรมานต่อภูมิภาคและนานาประเทศ แต่ภายหลังสงครามโลกครั้งที่สองกลับไม่เคยมีการชำระความอย่างเหมาะสม และปัจจุบันฝ่ายญี่ปุ่นยังเร่งดำเนินการเสริมกำลังทางทหารซึ่งสร้างความกังวลและเรียกเสียงวิพากษ์วิจารณ์จากทั่วโลก
