มาเลเซียเร่งสืบสวน! – เอเชียนิวส์เน็ตเวิร์กและ สเตรตส์ไทมส์ รายงานวันที่ 28 ส.ค. ว่า เจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายวิศวกรรมของ ท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ประเทศมาเลเซีย
พบศพบุคคลไม่ทราบชื่ออยู่ในช่องเก็บล้อของเครื่องบินลำหนึ่งที่ลงจอดบริเวณอาคารผู้โดยสาร 2 เมื่อเวลาประมาณ 06.55 น. ของวันที่ 27 ส.ค. โดยเครื่องบินลำดังกล่าวเดินทางมาจากกรุงโตเกียว ประเทศญี่ปุ่น และลงจอดเมื่อเวลาราว 06.30 น.
มาเลเซียเร่งสืบสวน! – ภาพประกอบ – The body of an unidentified person was found inside the wheel well of an aircraft at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2) on Aug 27. The body, whose gender has yet to be determined, was discovered at about 6.55am in the wheel well of a flight from Tokyo, Japan, which landed at about 6.30am.
มีรายงานด้วยว่าผู้เสียชีวิตสวมกางเกงยีนส์และเสื้อเชิ้ตสีขาว ยังไม่มีการระบุเพศ ไม่พบเอกสารระบุตัวตนใดๆ บนศพ คาดว่าอายุประมาณ 20 ปี
และเจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายวิศวกรรมได้รับมอบหมายให้เปิดช่องเก็บล้อหลังมีกลิ่นเหม็นผิดปกติออกมาจากช่องดังกล่าว ขณะเดียวกันเจ้าหน้าที่นิติวิทยาศาสตร์เร่งตรวจสอบจุดเกิดเหตุ รวมถึงชันสูตรศพเพื่อหาสาเหตุการตายและว่าอาจเสียชีวิตมานานกว่า 72 ชั่วโมง
มาเลเซียเร่งสืบสวน! – ภาพประกอบ – It is learnt that the body, clad in jeans and a white shirt, was found by engineering personnel tasked with opening the aircraft’s wheel well. The personnel detected a suspicious foul smell coming from the wheel well before opening the compartment. The body was discovered, and the matter was reported to the KLIA2 police station operations room.
ภาพประกอบ – Police forensic personnel were later deployed to the scene to conduct further investigations. Initial investigations found that the victim was believed to be in his or her 20s and may have been dead for more than 72 hours. However, no identification documents were found on the body. Investigations are ongoing to determine the victim’s identity and cause of death.
