รายงานระบุด้วยว่าผู้ป่วยอายุ 5-19 ปี จำนวน 1,914 ราย คิดเป็นร้อยละ 42 ครองสัดส่วนมากที่สุดของยอดผู้ป่วยทั้งหมด และร้อยละ 96 ของผู้ป่วยไม่ได้รับวัคซีนป้องกันหรือมีสถานะการรับวัคซีนที่ไม่ชัดเจน

ขณะเดียวกันยอดผู้ป่วยโรคหัดในรัฐเพนซิลเวเนียยังคงเพิ่มขึ้นต่อเนื่อง เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 23 ต.ค. หน่วยงานสาธารณสุขท้องถิ่นเปิดเผยจำนวนผู้ป่วยใหม่ 78 รายในช่วง 7 วันที่ผ่านมา และพบผู้ป่วยแล้ว 1,338 ราย ครอบคลุม 44 เขต คิดเป็นเกือบร้อยละ 30 ของจำนวนผู้ป่วยทั้งหมดในสหรัฐ
เปรียบเทียบกับข้อมูลจากศูนย์ควบคุมและป้องกันโรคแห่งสหรัฐที่ระบุว่าในปี 2568 รัฐเพนซิลเวเนียพบผู้ป่วยโรคหัดเพียง 16 รายเท่านั้น
