ระบาดไม่หยุด! คูเวต-บาห์เรน ยืนยันพบติดเชื้อโควิด-19 กลุ่มแรก 4 คน
ระบาดไม่หยุด! – วันที่ 24 ก.พ. เอเอฟพี รายงานว่า กระทรวงสาธารณสุขคูเวตและกระทรวงสาธารณสุขบาห์เรนแถลงยืนยันพบผู้ป่วยติดเชื้อโควิด-19 เป็นรายแรกของทั้งสองประเทศ
โดยทางการคูเวตระบุว่าพบผู้ติดเชื้ออย่างน้อย 3 ราย ขณะที่บาห์เรนระบุพบแล้ว 1 ราย เป็นพลเรือนชาวบาห์เรนที่เพิ่งเดินทางกลับจากอิหร่าน

ก่อนหน้านี้กระทรวงการต่างประเทศบาห์เรน ร่วมกับกระทรวงสาธารณสุขและกระทรวงกิจการภายในออกประกาศประกาศห้ามคนต่างชาติที่เคยเดินทางไปประเทศไทยเดินทางเข้ามาบาห์เรน มีสาระสำคัญคือ
ห้ามคนต่างชาติ (หมายถึงทุกสัญชาติ รวมทั้งคนไทย ที่ไม่มีถิ่นพำนัก ไม่มีวีซ่าทำงานในบาห์เรน) ที่เคยเดินทางไปยังประเทศไทย อิหร่าน สิงคโปร์ มาเลเซีย และเกาหลีใต้ภายใน 14 วันก่อนหน้าเดินทางเข้ามายังบาห์เรน
สำหรับผู้ที่มีถิ่นพำนักในบาห์เรน (รวมถึงผู้ที่มีวีซ่านักลงทุน วีซ่าทำงาน วีซ่าครอบครัว และ Flexi Work Permit ไม่รวมวีซ่าท่องเที่ยว) ที่เคยเดินทางไปประเทศไทย อิหร่าน สิงคโปร์ มาเลเซีย และเกาหลีใต้ภายใน 14 วันก่อนหน้า จะต้องถูกกักตัว และได้รับการตรวจร่างกายตามกระบวนการที่ได้รับการแนะนำจากองค์การอนามัยโลก
ทั้งนี้ เนื่องจากยังไม่มีความชัดเจนในการดำเนินการเพื่อบังคับใช้คำสั่งดังกล่าว สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ขอแนะนำให้คนไทยหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินทางมายังบาห์เรน หากไม่มีความจำเป็น
