ชื่นชมหลุยส์ วิตตอง – วันที่ 16 มี.ค. บีบีซี รายงานกระแสชื่นชม บริษัท แอลวีเอ็มเอช เจ้าของแบรนด์แฟชั่นหรูสัญชาติฝรั่สเศส อย่าง หลุยส์ วิตตอง , คริสเตียน ดิออร์ และ เฟนดิ เปิดเผยว่าฝ่ายผลิตน้ำหอมและเครื่องสำอางของบริษัทเดินหน้าผลิต เจลแอลกอฮอล์ล้างมือ สำหรับฆ่าเชื้อโรคและป้องกันการแพร่ระบาดของไวรัสโควิด-19
โดยบริษัทจะเร่งส่งเจลล้างมือแบบไม่คิดค่าใช้จ่ายไปยังหน่วยงานด้านสาธารณสุขทั่วประเทศในวันจันทร์ตามเวลาท้องถิ่น
ภายหลังฝรั่งเศสเผชิญกับภาวะเจลล้างมือขาดตลาด ในช่วงที่สถานการณ์การระบาดของไวรัสมรณะยังเลวร้าย พบผู้ติดเชื้อแล้ว 5,437 คน และเสียชีวิตอย่างน้อย 127 คน พร้อมย้ำว่าบริษัทมุ่งมั่นที่จะผลิตเจลล้างมืออย่างต่อเนื่องเพื่อร่วมยับยั้งวิกฤตโควิด-19

ก่อนหน้านี้ นายเบอร์นาร์ด อาร์โนลต์ ซีอีโอบริษัท แอลวีเอ็มเอช บริจาคเงิน 226 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ หรือราว 7,200 ล้านบาท เพื่อฟื้นฟูและบูรณะมหาวิหารนอเทรอดามที่ถูกไฟไหม้ครั้งใหญ่ เมื่อเดือนเม.ย.2562
นอกจากแอลวีเอ็มเอชแล้ว ยังมีบริษัท เคอริง กรุ๊ป เจ้าของแบรนด์หรู กุชชี และอีฟแซงส์โลว์ร็องต์ บริจาคราว 3,600 ล้านบาท เช่นเดียวกับบริษัท โททาล บริษัทพลังงานยักษ์ใหญ่ของฝรั่งเศส ที่ร่วมลงขันเงินบูรณะมหาวิหารที่เป็นหนึ่งในสัญลักษณ์ของประเทศ ส่วนบริษัท เบตตอง
