เจ้าหน้าที่-ชาวบ้านสังเวย “ไฟป่า” 19 ศพ หลังนำทีมขึ้นเขาหวังสกัดเพลิงมรณะ
เจ้าหน้าที่-ชาวบ้านสังเวย “ไฟป่า” – วันที่ 31 มี.ค. ไชน่าเดลี รายงานความสูญเสียจาก ไฟป่า รุนแรงในพื้นที่ภูเขาของเขตปกครองตนเองชนกลุ่มน้อยอี๋เหลียงซาน มณฑลเสฉวน ทางตอนใต้ของ ประเทศจีน
หลังจากเจ้าหน้าที่ดับเพลิง 21 นาย และชาวบ้านอีก 1 คนซึ่งอาสาเป็นผู้นำทางพาหน่วยดับเพลิงเข้าป่าไปดับไฟที่โหมไหม้ลุกลามจากฟาร์มแห่งหนึ่งในเขตสีฉาง ตั้งแต่ช่วงค่ำวันจันทร์ที่ 30 มี.ค.ที่ผ่านมา
กระทั่งเวลาราว 01.30 น. ของวันอังคารตามเวลาท้องถิ่น หน่วยฉุกเฉินได้รับแจ้งว่าทีมดับเพลิงหายตัวไป จึงนำกำลังออกค้นหาท่ามกลางสภาพอากาศไม่เอื้ออำนวย มีลมกระโชกแรก และไฟป่ายังโหมไหม้เป็นบริเวณกว้าง
ต่อมาเมื่อเวลาราว 07.00 น. หน่วยฉุกเฉินพบเจ้าหน้าที่ดับเพลิงรอดชีวิต 3 นาย และเร่งนำตัวส่งโรงพยาบาล จากนั้นเดินหน้าค้นหาทีมดับเพลิงอย่างต่อเนื่อง แต่ไม่สามารถช่วยเหลือได้ทันการ เจ้าหน้าที่อีก 18 นาย รวมถึงชาวบ้านผู้นำทาง ถูกพบเสียชีวิต แต่ไม่ได้ระบุสาเหตุการตายว่าโดนไฟคลอกหรือสูดดมควันเข้าไปจนเสียชีวิต
