ฝนยังกระหน่ำเนปาล! – วันที่ 13 ก.ค. เอ็นดีทีวี รายงานความคืบหน้าสถานการณ์ น้ำท่วม และ ดินโคลนถล่ม ในพื้นที่ภาคตะวันตกของ ประเทศเนปาล โดยเฉพาะในเขตมยักดี พื้นที่ได้รับผลกระทบรุนแรง ซึ่งอยู่ห่างจากกรุงกาฐมาณฑุไปทางตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือราว 200 ก.ม. หลังพายุฝนยังตกกระหน่ำต่อเนื่องตั้งแต่วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 9 ก.ค.ที่ผ่านมา ว่า ยอดผู้เสียชีวิตเพิ่มเป็นอย่างน้อย 60 ราย และยังสูญหายมากกว่า 41 ราย
ขณะเดียวกันบ้านเรือนหลายร้อยหลังถูกกระแสน้ำเชี่ยวกรากพัดพังเสียชีวิต ประชาชนนับพันคนต้องอพยพหนีตาย ย้ายไปอยู่ตามโรงยิมฯ ของโรงเรียน และศูนย์พักพิงช่วยคราว ส่วนเจ้าหน้าที่กู้ภัยราว 80 คนยังเร่งตามหาผู้สูญหาย รวมทั้งช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยที่ตกค้างในเขตน้ำท่วมสูง

Hundreds have been displaced as landslides buried their homes. Local school buildings and community centres have been turned into shelters for the flood-affected people. MYAGDI ONLINE
