ฝรั่งเศสช็อกอีก! ไฟไหม้ “วิหารเมืองน็องต์” เก่าแก่เกือบ 130 ปี จนท.กว่าร้อยนายรุดดับเพลิง
ฝรั่งเศสช็อกอีก! – ยูโรนิวส์ รายงานวันที่ 18 ก.ค. ว่า เมื่อเวลาราว 07.45 น. ตามเวลาท้องถิ่นของ ฝรั่งเศส เกิดเหตุไฟไหม้ที่ วิหารน็องต์ หรือ อาสนวิหารนักบุญเปโตรและนักบุญเปาโลแห่งน็องต์ ในเขตปลัสแซ็ง-ปิแอร์ เมืองน็องต์ จังหวัดลัวรัตล็องติก แคว้นเปอีเดอลาลัวร์ ทางตะวันตก เจ้าหน้าที่ดับเพลิงกว่า 100 นายต้องระดมกำลังดับไฟที่โหมไหม้วิหารอายุเก่าแก่เกือบ 130 ปี
กระทั่งเวลาราว 10.00 น. หน่วยดับเพลิงเมืองน็องต์แถลงว่าสามารถควบคุมเพลิงได้แล้ว และว่าต้นเพลิงเกิดขึ้นบริเวณที่ตั้งเครื่องออร์แกนอายุกว่า 400 ปี หลังหน้าต่างกุหลาบด้านหน้าวิหาร โชคดีที่ไฟไม่ได้ทำลายโครงสร้างหลังคาหรือร้ายแรงเหมือนเหตุไฟไหม้มหาวิหารนอเทรอดามในกรุงปารีส เมื่อเดือนเม.ย.2562 ส่วนสาเหตุยังอยู่ระหว่างสอบสวน

“For the moment, the fire has been contained,” General Laurent Ferlay, the head of the local fire service, told reporters at around 10:00 CET. REUTERS

Emergency services were alerted shortly before 07:45 CET and some 104 firefighters were deployed to tackle the fire, Ferlay said. The “violent blaze” erupted “by the organ located behind the rose window”, Ferlay explained. “The roof has not been affected”, he went on, adding: “the scenario is not comparable to Notre Dame”.
