สุดเศร้า! ฌอน คอนเนอรี – วันที่ 31 ต.ค. บีบีซี รายงานข่าวความสูญเสียของวงการบันเทิงฝั่งตะวันตก หลังจาก เซอร์ ฌอน คอนเนอรี นักแสดงมากฝีมือชาวสกอต ผู้โด่งดังจากบท เจมส์ บอนด์ และเป็น สายลับ 007 คนแรกที่โลกแล่นบนจอเงิน เสียชีวิตด้วยวัย 90 ปี
นอจากเซอร์ ฌอน คอนเนอรี จะได้รับการยกย่องให้เป็นต้นแบบสายลับพยัคฆ์ร้ายแล้ว ยังฝากผลงานการแสดงในภาพยนตร์ดัง อาท Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade และ Highlander
เคยคว้ารางวัลออสการ์สาขานักแสดงสมทบชายยอดเยี่ยมเมื่อปี 2531 จากภาพยนตร์เรื่อง The Untouchable และในปี 2543 สมเด็จพระราชินีนาถอลิซาเบธที่ 2 ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ แต่งตั้งให้เป็นอัศวิน
