อินโดฯ หนีตายภูเขาไฟ “เมราปี” ปะทุอีก หวั่นระเบิด-เตือนลาวาไหลทะลัก!
อินโดฯ หนีตายภูเขาไฟ – จาการ์ตาโพสต์ รายงานวันที่ 8 พ.ย. ว่า ศูนย์จัดการภัยพิบัติแห่งชาติของอินโดนีเซียแถลงว่า เจ้าหน้าที่และหน่วยกู้ภัยเร่งอพยพประชาชนมากกว่า 600 คน ส่วนใหญ่เป็นผู้สูงอายุ หญิงตั้งครรภ์ เด็ก และผู้พิการ จากบ้านเรือนในพื้นที่เสี่ยงภัยใกล้เขตอันตรายรอบ ภูเขาไฟเมราปี ในจังหวัดชวากลาง ไปยังศูนย์พักพิงชั่วคราว
ภายหลังสำนักงานธรณีพิบัติภัยยกระดับการเตือนภัยสูงสุดเป็นอันดับสอง เนื่องจากมีความเคลื่อนไหวเกิดขึ้นในภูเขาไฟเมราปีนอย่างต่อเนื่องตั้งแต่ต้นสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา พร้อมเตือนว่าภูเขาไฟอาจเกิดการระเบิด ส่งผลให้มีลาวาไหลทะลัก และก๊าซร้อนพวยพุ่งขึ้นสูงกว่า 5 กิโลเมตร
ทั้งนี้ ภูเขาไฟเมราปีเป็นหนึ่งในภูเขาไฟมีพลังที่เกิดการปะทุบ่อยครั้งเมื่อเทียบกับภูเขาไฟอีกกว่า 130 แห่งทั่วอินโดนีเซีย ครั้งล่าสุดที่มีการปะทุใหญ่เกิดขึ้นในปี 2553 และมีผู้เสียชีวิตมากกว่า 300 ราย
