ฝรั่งเศสประท้วงเดือด – วันที่ 29 พ.ย. บีบีซี รายงานสถานการณ์ความไม่สงบต่อเนื่องใน ประเทศฝรั่งเศส หลังผู้ประท้วงราว 46,000 คน รวมตัว ชุมนุม ในกรุงปารีส เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 28 พ.ย.ตามเวลาท้องถิ่น เพื่อคัดค้าน ร่างกฎหมายความมั่นคงฉบับใหม่

กับสาระสำคัญห้ามเผยแพร่ภาพหรือคลิปวิดีโอที่เปิดเผยใบหน้าหรือระบุตัวตนของเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจ ซึ่งสภาผู้แทนราษฎรฝรั่งเศสลงมติเห็นชอบให้ผ่านร่างดังกล่าวเมื่อสัปดาห์ก่อนและอยู่ระหว่างการพิจารณาของวุฒิสมาชิก

ด้านกระทรวงกิจการภายในระบุว่าการประท้วงโดยรวมเป็นไปอย่างสงบ แต่มีผู้ชุมนุมบางส่วนปะทะกับตำรวจจนบาดเจ็บราว 20 นาย ทั้งยังจุดไฟเผารถบัสและรถยนต์หลายคัน เจ้าหน้าที่จึงต้องยิงแก๊สน้ำตาควบคุมเหตุและจับกุมผู้ประท้วง 46 คน

ทั้งนี้ ฝ่ายที่ไม่เห็นชอบระบุว่าร่างกฎหมายฉบับนี้เป็นช่องโหว่ให้ตำรวจที่ใช้กำลังเกินกว่าเหตุหลุดพ้นจากการดำเนินคดี หนำซ้ำยังมีโทษปรับสูงถึง 45,000 ยูโร หรือราว 1.6 ล้านบาท ที่สำคัญเพิ่งเกิดกรณีตำรวจทำร้ายร่างกายและเหยียดเชื้อชาติใส่ชายผิวดำด้วย

ขณะที่รัฐบาลชี้แจงว่าไม่ได้ลิดรอนเสรีภาพสื่อหรือพลเรือน แต่มีจุดประสงค์เพียงเพื่อปกป้องชีวิตของเจ้าหน้าที่ซึ่งทำงานที่มีความเสี่ยงสูงเท่านั้น

The government argues that the bill does not jeopardise the rights of the media and ordinary citizens to report police abuses – and is only aimed at giving protection to police officers.
