อังกฤษวิกฤต! – วันที่ 29 ธ.ค. ซีเอ็นเอ็น รายงานสถานการณ์ โรคโควิด-19 ใน สหราชอาณาจักร ที่ยังวิกฤตต่อเนื่อง หลังจากกระทรวงสาธารณสุขอังกฤษแถลงพบผู้ป่วยใหม่ในช่วง 24 ชั่วโมง เมื่อวันที่ 28 ธ.ค. อีก 41,385 คน
ถือเป็นจำนวนผู้ติดเชื้อรายวันที่สูงที่สุดเป็นประวัติการณ์ของประเทศนับตั้งแต่เผชิญหน้ากับการระบาดของไวรัสมรณะตั้งแต่เดือนมี.ค.ที่ผ่านมา และทุบสถิติผู้ป่วยรายวันสูงสุดก่อนหน้านี้ที่ 39,237 เมื่อวันที่ 23 ธ.ค.
ส่งผลให้ยอดติดเชื้อสะสมเพิ่มขึ้นเป็น 2.33 ล้านคน เป็นผู้ป่วยในประเทศอังกฤษ 1.96 ล้านคน เวลส์ 139,642 คน สกอตแลนด์ 119,924 คน และไอร์แลนด์เหนือ 65,562 คน ส่วนยอดผู้เสียชีวิตรวมมีอย่างน้อย 71,109 ราย เป็นจำนวนผู้เสียชีวิตในอังกฤษ 25,619 ราย เวลส์ 4,142 ราย ไอร์แลนด์เหนือ 1,839 ราย และสกอตแลนด์ 740 ราย

The UK recorded a further 41,385 coronavirus cases on Monday, breaking its daily record since the pandemic began.
A further 357 people have died, according to government data. Responding to the data, Dr. Yvonne Doyle, Medical Director for Public Health England, said the very high level of Covid-19 infection in England is of “growing concern.” REUTERS
