มุมไบเร่งหาเหยื่อ “ตึกถล่มทับตึก” หลังฝนกระหน่ำ-สังเวยนับสิบราย!
มุมไบเร่งหาเหยื่อ – วันที่ 10 มิ.ย. รอยเตอร์ และ สเตรตส์ไทมส์ รายงานเหตุสลดในนครมุมไบ รัฐมหาราษฏระ ทางตะวันตกของ ประเทศอินเดีย หลังจากอาคารที่พักอาศัยย่านชุมชนแออัดมัลวานี ทางตอนเหนือของมุมไบ ถล่มทับอาคารอีกหลังที่อยู่ใกล้เคียง เมื่อเวลา 23.10 น. ของวันที่ 9 มิ.ย. ตามเวลาท้องถิ่น
ส่งผลให้มีผู้เสียชีวิตอย่างน้อย 11 ราย ในจำนวนนี้เป็นเด็กมากถึง 8 ราย ส่วนผู้บาดเจ็บพบแล้ว 11 คน และคาดว่ายังมีผู้ประสบภัยจำนวนมากติดอยู่ใต้ซากอาคาร
ทั้งนี้ เหตุอาคารถล่มเกิดขึ้นบ่อยครั้งในอินเดีย โดยเฉพาะในช่วงพายุฤดูมรสุม ส่วนหนึ่งเป็นเพราะทางการไม่มีนโยบายควบคุมมาตรฐานสิ่งปลูกสร้าง ประกอบกับไม่มีข้อบังคับตรวจสอบความปลอดภัย และเจ้าของตึกมักลักลอบต่อเติมผิดกฎหมาย

The incident occurred close to midnight in a northern suburb of Mumbai, officials said, adding that more people could be trapped inside the debris. Eight people were injured and have been moved to nearby hospitals, officials said. /indianexpress/
