จีนยกระดับแก้วิกฤต “สายตาสั้น” ผงะเด็ก-วัยรุ่น “กว่าครึ่ง” ของประเทศมีปัญหา
จีนยกระดับแก้วิกฤต – วันที่ 15 ม.ค. ซินหัว รายงานว่า คณะกรรมการสุขภาพแห่งชาติจีนรายงานว่าจีนจะยกระดับการเฝ้าติดตามและการแทรกแซงเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหา สายตาสั้น ในหมู่เด็กและวัยรุ่น เพื่อช่วยพัฒนาสายตาของเยาวชนจีน
แผนการส่งเสริมการดูแลสายตาระยะ 5 ปี ของคณะกรรมการฯ ระบุว่าทุกเขตและอำเภอทั่วจีนจะมีกลไกติดตามอัตราสายตาสั้นในหมู่เยาวชนและกลไกตรวจจับปัจจัยหนุนที่เกี่ยวข้องภายในสิ้นปี 2568

อนึ่ง ความชุกของภาวะสายตาสั้นในหมู่เด็กและวัยรุ่นจีนอยู่ที่ร้อยละ 52.7 ในปี 2563 ซึ่งลดลง 0.9 จุดจากปี 2561 แต่ปัจจุบันยังคงเผชิญความท้าทายจากการเรียนออนไลน์ในยุคโรคระบาดใหญ่
คณะกรรมการฯ วางแผนขยับขยายอัตราความครอบคลุมของการดูแลดวงตาและการทดสอบการมองเห็นในเด็กอายุต่ำกว่า 6 ปี เป็นมากกว่าร้อยละ 90 ภายในปี 2568
ขณะเดียวกันแผนการข้างต้นซึ่งมุ่งแก้ไขปัญหาสายตาของเยาวชนและผู้สูงอายุเป็นหลัก ระบุว่าจำนวนจักษุแพทย์ทั้งหมดในจีนจะสูงเกิน 50,000 คน ภายในสิ้นปี 2568 ด้วย
