ลักลอบขน “งาช้าง” – วันที่ 25 ม.ค. ซินหัว รายงานว่า สำนักบริหารศุลกากรทั่วไปของประเทศจีน เปิดเผยว่าจีนรายงานคดีลักลอบขน “งาช้าง” ลดลงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ท่ามกลางการเดินหน้าปราบปรามอาชญากรรมดังกล่าวอย่างเข้มงวด
นายหนี่ เย่ว์เฟิง หัวหน้าสำนักบริหารศุลกากร กล่าวในที่ประชุมว่าทางการจีนตรวจยึดผลิตภัณฑ์จากงาช้างจากทั่วประเทศรวม 68 กิโลกรัมในปี 2564 ลดลงจาก 9.2 ตันในปี 2562

นอกจากนั้นจีนยังมีตัวเลขการนำเข้าขยะผิดกฎหมายลดลงมาก และได้รับรางวัลการบังคับใช้กฎหมายสิ่งแวดล้อมแห่งเอเชีย (Asia Environment Enforcement Awards) จากองค์การสหประชาชาติ (UN) เป็นครั้งที่ 4 ในปี 2564 ด้วย
สำนักบริหารศุลกากรระบุว่า ศุลกากรจีนสามารถยึดขยะจากต่างประเทศที่ลักลอบนำเข้ามา 42,000 ตัน ลดลงร้อยยละ 97.4 จากปีก่อนหน้า
