เมียนมาก็ไม่รอด! เจอป่วยสายพันธุ์ย่อย BA.4 และ BA.5 กลุ่มแรกของประเทศ
เมียนมาก็ไม่รอด! – ซินหัวและ สเตรตส์ไทมส์ รายงานว่า กระทรวงสาธารณสุขเมียนมา (พม่า) เปิดเผยว่าพบผู้ป่วย โรคโควิด-19 โอมิครอนสายพันธุ์ย่อย บีเอ.4 (BA.4) และ บีเอ.5 (BA.5) เป็นกลุ่มแรกของประเทศ
จากแถลงการณ์เมื่อวันที่ 11 ก.ค. ทางการเมียนมาระบุจากการตรวจสอบตัวอย่างเชื้อจากบุคคลที่เดินทางมาจากต่างประเทศจำนวน 16 คน ทั้งหมดถือสัญชาติเมียนมาและพบว่าผลตรวจหาเชื้อโควิด-19 เป็นบวกทุกคน
ในจำนวนนี้ 1 คนมีเชื้อสายพันธุ์ย่อยบีเอ.4 และอีก 5 คนมีเชื้อสายพันธุ์ย่อยบีเอ.5 ขณะที่ยอดป่วยสะสมในเมียนมาเพิ่มเป็น 613,751 คน และเสียชีวิตคงที่ที่ 19,434 ราย
