เมียนมาเผยยึดยาเสพติด มูลค่ากว่า “หมื่นล้าน” ในเวลาแค่ 5 เดือน!
เมียนมาเผยยึดยาเสพติด – ซินหัว รายงานว่า ทางการเมียนมาแถลงว่าสามารถยึด ยาเสพติด และวัตถุที่เกี่ยวข้องในช่วงเดือนม.ค. ถึงเดือนพ.ค. มีมูลค่ามากถึง 311.58 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐหรือราว 11,200 ล้านบาท ซึ่งมากกว่ามูลค่าการจับยึดในปีก่อนเกินครึ่งหนึ่ง
พลเอกอาวุโส มิน อ่อง ไหล่ ผู้บัญชาการทหารสูงสุดและประธานสภาบริหารแห่งรัฐของเมียนมา ระบุว่าตัวเลขที่เพิ่มขึ้นนี้สะท้อนว่ารัฐบาลกำลังเร่งดำเนินกิจกรรมปราบปรามยาเสพติด

โดยยาเสพติดที่ยึดได้ส่วนใหญ่มาจากรัฐฉาน และทางการเมียนมาได้ยกระดับปฏิบัติการปราบปรามให้เข้มข้นมากขึ้นแล้ว
เมียนมาจับยึดยาเสพติดและวัตถุที่เกี่ยวข้อง มูลค่า 524.48 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ (ราว 18,900 ล้านบาทในปี 2564 และเผายาเสพติด มูลค่ากว่า 642 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ (ประมาณ 23,100 ล้านบาท) เมื่อวันที่ 26 มิ.ย. เนื่องในวันต่อต้านการใช้ยาเสพติดและการค้ามนุษย์ที่ผิดกฎหมายสากล
