เปรูประกาศฉุกเฉิน “คุมม็อบ” นักท่องเที่ยว 800 คนติดแหง็กแดน “มาชูปิกชู”
เปรูประกาศฉุกเฉิน – วันที่ 15 ธ.ค. เอเอฟพีและ รอยเตอร์ รายงานสถานการณ์ความขัดแย้งทางการเมืองที่ยังยืดเยื้อใน ประเทศเปรู ว่า นักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติเกือบ 800 คนติดอยู่ในเมืองกุสโก
บนเทือกเขาแอนดีสซึ่งเป็นที่ตั้งของ เมืองสาบสูญมาชูปิกชู แหล่งท่องเที่ยวสำคัญที่องค์การเพื่อการศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ และวัฒนธรรมแห่งสหประชาชาติ (ยูเนสโก) ขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นมรดกโลกทางด้านวัฒนธรรม ตั้งแต่วันอังคารที่ 13 ธ.ค.
ภายหลังกลุ่มผู้ประท้วงรัฐบาลชุดใหม่ของประธานาธิบดีดีน่า โบลูอาร์เต ผู้นำหญิงคนแรก ซึ่งดำรงตำแหน่งต่อจากอดีตประธานาธิบดีเปโดร คาสติญโญ ที่ถูกสภาลงมติถอดถอน เมื่อต้นเดือนที่ผ่านมา รวมตัวชุมนุมและพยายามบุกยึดสนามบินนานาชาติเมืองกุสโก
อย่างไรก็ตาม เจ้าหน้าที่ความมั่นคงเข้าตรึงกำลังตามสถานที่ทำการของรัฐบาลและสนามบิน หลังจากรัฐบาลประกาศสถานการณ์ฉุกเฉินทั่วประเทศ ขณะเดียวกันนายกเทศมนตรีเมืองกุสโกขอให้รัฐบาลส่งเฮลิคอปเตอร์อพยพนักท่องเที่ยวที่ติดค้างไปสหรัฐอเมริกา เม็กซิโก และสเปน

Some 779 tourists of different nationalities have been stranded since Tuesday after the railway service between Cusco and the Inca citadel Machu Picchu, has been suspended due to strong protests that began on Monday in the city of Cusco with an attempt to take over the international airport. (AFP)
