มาเลเซียเร่งสอบ – เดอะสตาร์ รายงานวันที่ 23 ม.ค. ว่า ตำรวจมาเลเซียเร่งสอบสวนเหตุไฟไหม้ รถบัสนำเที่ยว ขณะแล่นอยู่บนช่องทางออกของด่านเก็บเงิน ทางด่วนยูพีเอ็มโทลล์ พลาซา ในรัฐสลังงอร์ ประเทศมาเลเซีย เมื่อช่วงเช้าวันอาทิตย์ที่ 22 ม.ค.ที่ผ่านมา
โชคดีที่ผู้โดยสาร 44 คน และคนขับอีก 1 คนสามารถหนีออกจากรถได้ทันท่วงทีและไม่มีใครได้รับบาดเจ็บ ขณะที่หน่วยดับเพลิงระดมกำลังดับไฟที่เผารถบัสจนเหลือแต่ซาก
ส่วนตู้เก็บเงินประจำด่านได้รับความเสียหายเล็กน้อย อย่างไรก็ตาม บริษัท พลัส มาเลเซีย บีเอชดี บริษัทบริหารทางด่วนของมาเลเซีย แถลงปิดช่องทางด่านเก็บเงินบริเวณจุดเกิดเหตุเป็นการชั่วคราว
A tour bus travelling from Johor to Kuala Lumpur caught fire in Selangor on Sunday morning. Exit lanes at the UPM toll plaza were temporarily closed following the incident. The team successfully managed to control the situation within a few minutes. “A total of 44 passengers and one driver escaped.
