เมียนมาตรวจรถบรรทุก – ซินหัว รายงานว่า คณะกรรมการกลางการควบคุมยาเสพติดของเมียนมา แถลงเมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 9 มี.ค.ที่ผ่านมาว่า เจ้าหน้าที่เมียนมายึด ยากระตุ้นประสาท จำนวน 10.17 ล้านเม็ด ในรัฐฉาน ทางตะวันออกของประเทศ
รายงานระบุว่าตำรวจปราบปรามยาเสพติดเข้าตรวจค้นรถบรรทุก 12 ล้อที่เมืองท่าขี้เหล็ก รัฐฉานเมื่อวันที่ 4 มี.ค. หลังได้รับเบาะแสและจับยึดยาเสพติดบรรจุถุงรวมกันกว่า 10 ล้านเม็ด และมีมูลค่ากว่า 4,000 ล้านจัต หรอราว 67 ล้านบาท
จากการสอบสวนเบื้องต้นพบว่ายาเสพติดนี้ขนส่งจากเมืองมองปยินไปยังเมืองท่าขี้เหล็ก ส่วนผู้ต้องสงสัย 2 รายถูกตั้งข้อหาแล้วและอยู่ระหว่างการสอบปากคำเพิ่มเติมเพื่อดำเนินคดี
