ถือเป็นอุณหภูมิเดือนมีนาคมที่สูงที่สุดในรอบ 140 ปี นับตั้งแต่เริ่มเก็บข้อมูลเมื่อปี 2427 ก่อนหน้านี้ฮ่องกงประสบภัยฤดูร้อนที่ร้อนระอุที่สุดในปี 2566 กับอุณหภูมิเฉลี่ยระหว่างเดือนมิถุนายนถึงเดือนสิงหาคมที่ 29.7 องศาเซลเซียส
