เกาหลีเหนือปล่อย “บอลลูนขยะ” – เอเอฟพี รายงานวันที่ 5 ก.ย. ว่า คณะเสนาธิการร่วมของเกาหลีใต้ (เจซีเอส) แถลงว่าเกาหลีเหนือปล่อย บอลลูน บรรจุถุงพลาติกใส่ขยะข้ามชายแดนมาเกาหลีใต้อีกครั้ง โดยเกาหลีเหนือปล่อยบอลลูนขยะประมาณ 420 ลูกเมื่อค่ำวันที่ 4 ก.ย.ที่ผ่านมา ก่อนปล่อยเพิ่มอีกจำนวนหนึ่งช่วงเช้าของวันที่ 5 ก.ย.

ขณะที่ทางการท้องถิ่นเกาหลีใต้ระบุว่าบอลลูนขยะราว 20 ลูกข้ามชายแดนมายังเกาหลีใต้และส่วนใหญ่ตกลงในจังหวัดคย็องกี ทางตอนเหนือ รวมถึงบางส่วนที่ตกลงในกรุงโซล ทั้งนี้ ตั้งแต่เริ่มภารกิจป่วนข้ามแดนช่วงปลายเดือนพ.ค. เกาหลีเหนือปล่อยบอลลูนขยะเป็นครั้งที่ 13 กับจำนวนบอลลูนมากกว่า 3,800 ลูก
การก่อกวนครั้งล่าสุดเกิดขึ้นในช่วงที่ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสองประเทศเกาหลีอยู่ในจุดต่ำสุดในรอบหลายปี และเกาหลีเหนือเพิ่งประกาศประจำการเครื่องยิงขีปนาวุธ 250 เครื่องในพื้นที่ชายแดนตอนใต้ของประเทศ

“เกาหลีเหนือยังไม่หยุดพัฒนาขีดความสามารถด้านนิวเคลียร์และขีปนาวุธ รวมถึงยังก่อกวนด้วยการรบกวนระบบจีพีเอสหรือปล่อยบอลลูนขยะข้สมชายแดน” นายคิม ฮงกยุน รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศของเกาหลีใต้ กล่าวระหว่างแถลงข่าว
และว่าจากสถานการณ์นี้ทำให้ไม่สามารถตัดความเป็นไปได้ที่เกาหลีเหนืออาจวางแผนก่อเหตุยั่วยุครั้งใหญ่ก่อนและหลังการเลือกตั้งประธานาธิบดีสหรัฐอเมริกา
