โฆษกกองทัพปลดปล่อยแห่งชาติตะอาง (ทีเอ็นแอลเอ) ระบุว่ากองทัพรัฐบาลเมียนมาทิ้งระเบิดใส่พื้นที่ 2 แห่งในเมืองน้ำคำ ห่างจากชายแดนมณฑลยูนนาน ประเทศจีน ราว 5 กิโลเมตร เมื่อเวลาราว 01.00 น. ตามเวลาท้องถิ่น
