พบผู้เสียชีวิตอย่างน้อย 24 ราย ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเหยื่อจากเหตุจมน้ำในเขตบีโคล และจังหวัดเกซอน แต่คาดว่ายอดผู้เสียชีวิตจะเพิ่มขึ้นเนื่องจากถนนเชื่อมต่อเข้าเมืองและหมู่บ้านหลายแห่งถูกตัดขาดด้วยน้ำท่วมและดินโคลนถล่มทับ
ขณะเดียวกันหน่วยงานบรรเทาสาธารณภัยของฟิลิปปินส์เปิดเผยว่ามีประชาชนมากกว่า 2 ล้านคนได้รับผลกระทบ รวมถึงชาวบ้านราว 75,400 คนที่ต้องอพยพไปอยู่ศูนย์พักพิงชั่วคราว ทั้งนี้ พายุจ่ามีเคลื่อนตัวไปยังภาคตะวันตกและคาดว่าจะมุ่งหน้าสู่ทะเลจีนใต้ช่วงบ่ายวันพฤหัสบดีตามเวลาท้องถิ่น
