เจ้าหน้าที่เปิดเผยว่าผู้ต้องสงสัยให้การรับสารภาพว่าใช้อาวุธมีดแทงปู่อายุ 75 ปีจนเสียชีวิต เมื่อเวลาประมาณ 02.00 น. ของวันที่ 9 พ.ค. ส่วนย่าอายุ 72 ปีถูกพบเสียชีวิตและมีเลือดไหลจำนวนมากอยู่ภายในบ้านซึ่งทั้งสามคนอาศัยอยู่ด้วยกันกับสมาชิกครอบครัวอีก 2 คน
