เอฟดีเออนุมัติฉีด “ไฟเซอร์” – วันที่ 30 ต.ค. เอ็นบีซีนิวส์ รายงานว่า องค์การอาหารและยาสหรัฐอเมริกา (เอฟดีเอ) แถลงอนุมัติให้ฉีดวัคซีนป้องกันโรคโควิด-19 ของบริษัทไฟเซอร์-บิออนเทค ในปริมาณโดสต่ำแก่เด็กอายุ 5-11 ปีในประเทศซึ่งมีจำนวนราว 28 ล้านคน
ภายหลังคณะกรรมการที่ปรึกษาลงมติที่คะแนน 17 เสียงต่อ 0 เสียง (ขาดประชุม 1 เสียง) เห็นชอบให้ฉีดวัคซีนในเด็ก เนื่องจากพิจารณาแล้วว่าการฉีดวัคซีนมีผลประโยชน์แก่เด็กมากกว่าความเสี่ยงจากอาการแพ้วัคซีน

The FDA’s move comes several days after its advisory committee voted 17-0, in favor of recommending the vaccine for children. The committee concluded that the benefits of vaccination outweigh its risks. REUTERS
