ทว่าผลการให้คะแนนในศึกชิงแชมป์ “ซูเปอร์แชมป์” WBA รุ่นเวลเตอร์เวต ที่ เอ็มจีเอ็ม แกรนด์ ตลาดมวยโลกเบอร์หนึ่งอย่างลาสเวกัส เมื่อคืนวันเสาร์ 20 ก.ค.62 (เวลาท้องถิ่น) ตรงกับเช้าวันอาทิตย์ที่ 21 ก.ค. เวลาไทย กลับให้ “แพ็คแมน” ยอดมวยโลกฟิลิปปินส์ ชนะไม่เอกฉันท์ 2-1 เสียง

โดย ทิม ชีแดม (Tim Cheatham) และ เดฟ โมเร็ตติ (Dave Moretti) ให้ ปาเกียวชนะเท่ากัน 115-112 ขณะที่ เกลนน์ เฟลด์แมน (Glenn Feldman) กลับให้ คีธ ชนะ 114-113 อย่างหน้าตาเฉย จนคนดูในเวทีพากันโห่ขรม จึงชวนให้สงสัยว่า เหตุใด การตัดสินมวยระดับโลกของคณะกรรมการ รัฐเนวาด้า ที่กลั่นกรองมาเป็นอย่างดี

เหตุใดจึงมีผลทะลึ่งสวนกระแสคนดูทั่วโลกได้เช่นนี้ บางรายมองถึง “ตลาดพนัน” ของอเมริกา จะมีอิทธิพลมากถึงขนาดนั้นเชียวหรือ..!?!?

แต่หากเฉลียวใจ แล้วย้อนดูประวัติของ ท่านเปาจากคอนเนคติกัตรายนี้ จะทราบว่า “เกลนน์ เฟลด์แมน” เคยเป็นนักข่าวสายกีฬามวยมายาวนาน ก่อนจะเป็นผู้พิพากษาในปี 1988 และยังเป็นผู้ก่อตั้ง ฮอลล์ ออฟ เฟม (หอเกียรติคุณมวย) ในรัฐคอนเนคติกัต รวมทั้งเป็นที่ปรึกษา Merrill Lynch สถาบันทางการเงินชื่อดังของโลกอีกด้วย ถือว่ามีเกียรติไม่เบา

และเมื่อเจาะดูประวัติอย่างละเอียด ของการทำหน้าที่ให้คะแนนมวยคู่สำคัญๆระดับโลกที่เจ้าตัวได้ตัดสิน จะเห็นได้ชัดว่า นับตั้งแต่ปี 1994 ถึงปี 2013 รวม 19 ไฟต์ เฟลด์แมน จะให้คะแนนสวนทางกับเพื่อนกรรมการผู้ร่วมงานอีกสองท่านด้วยกันทุกครั้งไป
