อินเดียเร่งหาเหยื่อ – รอยเตอร์ รายงานวันที่ 24 ก.ค. ถึงความคืบหน้าเหตุระเบิดอุโมงค์โครงการโรงไฟฟ้าพลังน้ำที่กำลังก่อสร้างในรัฐสิกขิม ทางตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของ ประเทศอินเดีย เมื่อวันที่ 20 ก.ค.ที่ผ่านมาว่า เจ้าหน้าที่พบร่างผู้เสียชีวิตอีก 7 รายภายในอุโมงค์ ส่งผลให้ยอดผู้เสียชีวิตเพิ่มเป็นอย่างน้อย 22 ราย

โครงการดังกล่าวเป็นของบริษัท เนชั่นแนล ไฮโดรอิเล็กทริก พาวเวอร์ คอร์ป จำกัด (NHPC – National Hydroelectric Power Corp Ltd) ของรัฐบาล ตั้งอยู่บนแม่น้ำทีสตา แม่น้ำสายสำคัญในภูมิภาคหิมาลัย
