โฆษกหน่วยยามฝั่งฟิลิปปินส์เปิดเผยว่า เรือเฟอร์รี่เอ็มวี จูน เอสเตอร์ มีผู้โดยสาร 117 คนและลูกเรือ 17 คน กำลังเดินทางจากกรุงมะนิลามายังเกาะโครอน เบื้องต้นเจ้าหน้าที่ช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบเหตุที่รอดชีวิตได้แล้ว 43 ราย
