อินโดนีเซียระทึกซ้ำ – วันที่ 15 พ.ย. รอยเตอร์ และ เดลีเมล์ รายงานว่า เมื่อเวลา 23.17 น. ตามเวลาท้องถิ่นของอินโดนีเซีย สำนักธรณีวิทยาสหรัฐอเมริการะบุพบแผ่นดินไหวขนาด 7.4 แม็กนิจูด มีจุดศูนย์กลาง 134 กิโลเมตร ทางตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือของเมืองเตเนท ในหมู่เกาะมาลูกู และอยู่ลึกลงไปใต้ทะเลที่ระยะห่าง 62 กิโลเมตร ส่งผลให้ทางการท้องถิ่นประกาศเตือนภัยสึนามิ
An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 has struck 134 kilometers northwest of Ternate, Moluccas, Indonesia, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The tsunami alert was issued for cities of Ternate on North Moluku and Bitung on North Sulawesi.
Seismologist Stephen Hicks, of Imperial College London, told The Independent: ‘Fortunately, it has occurred offshore and at a reasonably deep depth so risk of damage from shaking and tsunami is low.’ /DailyMail/
The quake was measured at 62 km deep, USGS said.
