อังกฤษอ่วม “น้ำเชี่ยวกราก” ทะลักเข้าเมือง หวั่นเสียหาย-กระทบสะพานเหล็ก 240 ปี
อังกฤษอ่วม – การ์เดียน รายงานวันที่ 27 ก.พ. ถึงสถานการณ์ น้ำท่วม หลังพายุฝนตกหนักใน เขตชาร์ปเชอร์ ทางตะวันตกตอนกลางของ อังกฤษ ว่า ทางการท้องถิ่นประกาศเตือนภัยพิบัติระดับสีเหลือง หลังระดับน้ำในแม่น้ำเซเวิร์นเพิ่มสูงและไหลทะลักเข้าท่วมเมืองไออนบริดจ์เป็นบริเวณกว้าง จนชาวบ้านต้องเร่งอพยพไปยังศูนย์พักพิงชั่วคราว
ขณะที่สำนักอุตุนิยมวิทยาเตือนว่าจะมีฝนตกต่อเนื่องในช่วงสุดสัปดาห์ ท่ามกลางความวิตกกังวลว่ากระแสน้ำเชี่ยวกรากที่ไหลแรงกว่า 400 ตันต่อวินาทีจะสร้างความเสียหายให้กับชุมนุม รวมทั้งสะพานไออนบริดจ์ หนึ่งในสะพานเหล็กหล่อแห่งแรกๆ ของโลก และมีอายุเก่าแก่เกือบ 240 ปีด้วย
