คดีงอก! อดีตตร. ฆ่า “จอร์จ ฟลอยด์” โดนอีกหลายกระทง-หนีภาษีกว่า 1.2 ล้าน

คดีงอก! – วันที่ 23 ก.ค. บีบีซี รายงานว่า นายอิมราน อาลี อัยการเขตกรุงวอชิงตัน สหรัฐอเมริกา แถลงตั้งข้อหา นายดีเรก ชอวิน อดีตตำรวจเมืองมินนีแอโปลิส รัฐมินเนโซตา ผู้ต้องสงสัยฆาตกรรม นายจอร์จ ฟลอยด์ ชายผิวดำ จากคดีใช้กำลังจับกุมนายฟลอยด์จนเสียชีวิต และก่อให้เกิดกระแสประท้วงต่อต้านการเหยียดผิวไปทั่วโลก เมื่อเดือนพ.ค.ที่ผ่านมา ฐาน หนีภาษี เกือบ 38,000 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐ หรือกว่า 1.2 ล้านบาท

นายอาลีระบุว่า นายชอวินและน.ส.เคลลี ชอวิน อดีตภรรยาที่เพิ่งหย่าร้างหลังเกิดกรณีฉาว ถูกตั้งข้อหาช่วยเหลือและสนับสนุนการกรอกข้อมูลขอคืนภาษีที่เป็นเท็จหรือฉ้อโกงคนละ 6 กระทง และข้อหาช่วยเหลือและสนับสนุนให้ละเลยการยื่นข้อมูลขอคืนภาษีจากภาครัฐ

โดยทั้งคู่ไม่ได้ยื่นชี้แจงรายได้มากถึง 464,433 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐ หรือราว 14.6 ล้านบาท ระหว่างปี 2557-2562 ซึ่งจากการตรวจสอบพบว่ารายได้บางส่วนมาจากงานนอกราชการ รวมถึงงานรักษาความปลอดภัย และคาดว่าในการสอบสวนขยายผลจะเจอรายได้ที่นายชอวินยังไม่ได้ชี้แจงอีกจำนวนมาก
