จีนผวาอีก! 3 ขวบติดเชื้อ “กาฬโรคต่อมน้ำเหลือง” หลังพบหนูตายปริศนาในหมู่บ้าน
จีนผวาอีก! – โกลบอลไทมส์ และ สเตรตสไทมส์ รายงานวันที่ 28 ก.ย. ถึงกระแสวิตกใน ประเทศจีน อีกครั้ง หลังจากทางการท้องถิ่นเขตเหมิงไห่ มณฑลยูนนาน ทางตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ แถลงพบเด็กชายวัย 3 ขวบป่วยเป็น กาฬโรคต่อมน้ำเหลือง ระหว่างเจ้าหน้าที่ตรวจคัดกรองหาเชื้อกาฬโรคต่อมน้ำเหลืองในเขตเหมิงไห่ ภายหลังเจอหนู 3 ตัวตายปริศนาที่หมู่บ้านสีติ้ง เมื่อวันที่ 21 ก.ย. อย่างไรก็ตาม เด็กชายมีไข้เล็กน้อยและอาการทรงตัวแล้วหลังเข้ารับการรักษาที่โรงพยาบาล

สำหรับกาฬโรคต่อมน้ำเหลืองนั้นเป็นโรคติดเชื้อที่อาจมีอันตรายถึงชีวิต เกิดจากแบคทีเรียเยอร์ซีเนีย เพสติส (Yersinia Pestis) ซึ่งอาศัยอยู่ในสัตว์ฟันแทะขนาดเล็ก เช่น หนู กระรอก รวมถึงหมัดที่อยู่บนตัวสัตว์ฟันแทะเหล่านี้ด้วย
ชื่อของกาฬโรคต่อมน้ำเหลืองมาจากอาการที่เกิดขึ้น คือ อาการอักเสบและปวดบวมที่ต่อมน้ำเหลือง หรือบริเวณขาหนีบ และรักแร้ ซึ่งในช่วงปี 2553-2558 มีผู้ป่วยกาฬโรคมากถึง 3,248 รายทั่วโลก ในจำนวนนี้ 584 รายเสียชีวิต
