ชิลีรำลึกระอุ 1 ปีประท้วงไล่รัฐบาล ม็อบฮาร์ดคอร์เผาโบสถ์ ตร.ฉีดน้ำ-ยิงแก๊สสลายชุมนุม
ชิลีรำลึกระอุ – วันที่ 19 ต.ค. บีบีซี รายงานความขัดแย้งรุนแรงใน ประเทศชิลี หลังจากกลุ่มผู้ชุมนุมจำนวนมากออกมารวมตัวเดินขบวนในวาระครบรอบ 1 ปีการ ประท้วง ขับไล่รัฐบาลของ ประธานาธิบดีเซบัสเตียน ปิญเญรา จากกรณีขึ้นค่าครองชีพ ค่าโดยสารรถไฟใต้ดิน และความไม่เท่าเทียมทางสังคม เมื่อเดือนต.ค.2562
การชุมนุมเมื่อวันอาทิตย์ที่ 18 ต.ค. ตามเวลาท้องถิ่น เริ่มต้นขึ้นอย่างสงบสุข และมีการรณรงค์การทำประชามติเห็นชอบกับร่างแก้ไขรัฐธรรมนูญฉบับใหม่ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้นในสัปดาห์หน้า
อย่างไรก็ตาม เหตุการณ์เกิดบานปลายเมื่อผู้ประท้วงบางส่วนใช้ความรุนแรง ขว้างระเบิดเพลิงโจมตีสำนักงานใหญ่ตำรวจในกรุงซานเตียโก เผาทำลายโบสถ์อย่างน้อย 2 หลัง และปล้นสะดมร้านค้าหลายแห่ง ขณะเดียวกันเจ้าหน้าที่ปราบจลาจลใช้น้ำแรงดันสูงและยิงแก๊สน้ำตาสลายการชุมนุม
นายวิกเตอร์ เปเรซ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงกิจการภายในของชิลี แถลงว่ามีเจ้าหน้าที่ได้รับบาดเจ็บจากการใช้ความรุนแรงของผู้ประท้วงอย่างน้อย 18 นาย พร้อมระบุว่ากลุ่มคนที่ใช้กำลังไม่ต้องการให้ประชาชนชาวชิลีแก้ปัญหาด้วยกระบวนการทางประชาธิปไตย ทุกคนควรส่งเสียงแสดงความต้องการผ่านการทำประชามติ
