ไต้ฝุ่น “โมลาเบ” – ชาแนลนิวส์เอเชีย รายงานวันที่ 26 ต.ค. ว่า พายุไต้ฝุ่น “โมลาเบ” ที่ความเร็วลมสูงสุด 180 ก.ม.ต่อช.ม. พัดถล่มจังหวัดมินโดโร ทางตอนใต้ของกรุงมะนิลา ประเทศฟิลิปปินส์ อิทธิพลของพายุก่อให้เกิดฝนตกหนัก น้ำท่วมฉับพลัน และลมกระโชกแรง
เบื้องต้นทางการท้องถิ่นอพยพประชาชนราว 25,000 คนในพื้นที่เสี่ยงริมชายฝั่ง ในจำนวนนี้ 20,000 คนต้องอยู่ที่ศูนย์พักพิงชั่วคราวตามสถานศึกษาและอาคารทำการรัฐบาล
ด้านหน่วยกู้ภัยนำกำลังออกค้นหาลูกเรือประมง 12 คนที่ยังสูญหาย ขณะเดียวกันสามารถช่วยเหลือผู้รอดชีวิต 7 คนที่ประสบเหตุเรือยอร์ชอับปางนอกชายฝั่งจังหวัดบาตังกัส
