เมื่อไม่นานนี้ เดนิซ แซกดิก ศิลปินชาวตุรกี ได้เปลี่ยนโฉมวัสดุเหลือทิ้งหลายชนิดที่เก็บจากบริเวณสนามบินมารังสรรค์เป็นงานศิลปะสวยงาม
วัสดุที่ใช้สร้างงานศิลปะประกอบด้วยภาชนะและถุงพลาสติกหลายชิ้น กระดุมหลากสีจำนวนมาก เศษกระดาษ เชือก และแบตเตอรี่ ซึ่งถูกทิ้งแล้วโดยประชาชนที่สนามบิ โดยภาพบุคคลทั้งหมดต่างมีลักษณะเฉพาะของผู้คนหลากหลายสัญชาติแตกต่างกันไป
