สถิติจากกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวมัลดีฟส์ซึ่งเผยแพร่ช่วงสุดสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา ระบุว่าจำนวนนักเดินทางขาเข้ารายวันเฉลี่ยอยู่ที่ 4,790 คน และนักท่องเที่ยวพักค้างแรมเฉลี่ยอยู่ที่ 8 วัน
โดยมัลดีฟส์ตั้งเป้าหมายรับรองนักท่องเที่ยว 1.6 ล้านคนในปีนี้ ซึ่งเพิ่มขึ้นจาก 1.3 ล้านคนของปีก่อน
