กานายืนยันพบป่วย “ไวรัสมาร์บวร์ก” เคสแรก-เสียชีวิตแล้ว กักตัวเกือบ 100 คน!
กานายืนยันพบป่วย – บีบีซี รายงานวันที่ 18 ก.ค. ว่า กระทรวงสาธารณสุข กานา ประเทศในภูมิภาคแอฟริกาตะวันตก แถลงยืนยันพบผู้ป่วย “โรคไวรัสมาร์บวร์ก” กลุ่มแรกของประเทศจำนวน 2 คน และเพิ่งเสียชีวิตเมื่อไม่นานที่โรงพยาบาลแห่งหนึ่งในภูมิภาคอาชานติ ทางตอนใต้ และมีผู้ต้องสงสัยว่าติดไวรัสมาร์บวร์กที่ถูกแยกกักตัวอย่างน้อย 98 คน
นอกจากนี้ทางการยังส่งตัวอย่างเชื้อของผู้ป่วยทั้งสองคนไปวินิจฉัยที่ห้องปฏิบัติการในเซเนกัลและเพิ่งได้รับผลตรวจที่ระบุว่าเป็นบวกเมื่อต้นเดือนที่ผ่านมา
สำหรับโรคไวรัสมาร์บวร์กนั้นเป็นไข้เลือดออกจากไวรัสที่มีลักษณะคล้ายโรคไวรัสอีโบลา มีค้างคาวเป็นสัตว์พาหะ และมีอัตราการแพร่ระบาดสูง ผู้ป่วยมักมีไข้ ปวดศีรษะรุนแรง ปวดเมื่อยกล้ามเนื้อ อาเจียนเป็นเลือด และมีเลือดออก ปัจจุบันยังเป็นโรคที่ไม่สามารถรักษาได้ แต่แพทย์แนะนำให้ผู้ป่วยดื่มน้ำมากๆ และจะรักษาตามอาการที่เกิดขึ้น
