ปากีสถานเร่งสอบ – รอยเตอร์ รายงานวันที่ 5 พ.ค. ว่า ตำรวจปากีสถานเร่งสอบสวนหลังเกิดเหตุยิงที่โรงเรียนในเมืองปาราชินาร์ เขตคูร์ราม แคว้นไคเบอร์ปัคตูนควา ทางตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของ ปากีสถาน เมื่อวันที่ 4 พ.ค.ตามเวลาท้องถิ่น
ส่งผลให้มีผู้เสียชีวิต 7 ราย โดยทั้งหมดเป็นครู และก่อนหน้านี้เพิ่งเกิดเหตุครู 1 รายถูกยิงเสียชีวิตในเมืองปาราชินาร์เช่นกัน
จากการตรวจสอบเบื้องต้นพบว่าเหยื่อในเหตุการณ์แรกเป็นมุสลิมนิกายสุหนี่ ส่วนเหตุการณ์ที่โรงเรียนนั้นครูผู้เสียชีวิตทั้งเจ็ดรายเป็นชาวมุสลิมนิกายชีอะห์ และยังไม่สามารถชี้ชัดได้ว่าเหตุโจมตีที่โรงเรียนเป็นการตอบโต้เหตุครูมุสลิมสุหนี่ถูกสังหารหรือไม่
