ออสเตรียระทึก – เอเอฟพี รายงานวันที่ 8 มิ.ย. ว่า ตำรวจออสเตรียอพยพผู้โดยสารราว 200 คน หลังขบวนรถไฟเส้นทางเมืองฮัมบวร์ก ประเทศเยอรมนี มุ่งหน้าไปกรุงอัมสเตอร์ดัม ประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์
เกิดไฟไหม้ขณะแล่นผ่านอุโมงค์ใกล้เมืองอินส์บรุก รัฐทีโรล ในพื้นที่เทือกเขาแอลป์ ทางตะวันตกของออสเตรีย ส่งผลให้ผู้โดยสาร 45 คนมีอาการบาดเจ็บเล็กน้อย ส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากการสูดดมควันไฟ เมื่อค่ำวันพุธที่ 7 มิ.ย.ที่ผ่านมา
ด้านโฆษกการรถไฟออสเตรีย (OeBB) แถลงว่ารถไฟขบวนดังกล่าวเดินทางออกจากกรุงเวียนนา เมืองหลวงของประเทศเมื่อเย็นวันพุธและมีกำหนดถึงจุดหมายช่วงเช้าวันพฤหัสบดีตามเวลาท้องถิ่น
พร้อมระบุว่าเจ้าหน้าที่ควบคุมเพลิงได้เมื่อเวลา 22.19 น. และการอพยพแล้วเสร็จเมื่อเวลา 23.40 น. ส่วนสาเหตุยังอยู่ระหว่างการสอบสวน
